Eastern Mountain This is one of the sister mountains, and one of the territories for horses. It's heard that the wolves prefer it over here. This area stretches down the entire side of the mountain leading away from the sisters, and about three quarters of the way down to the valley. Three large streams run through the territory, which all meet up close to the valley and enter the river. Humans rarely frequent this mountain, it's the rockier of the two, and there are occasional rock slides. However there is much more chance of grass here, because once you get to the top half of the mountain, there are four huge grassy clearings. |

Western Mountain This is one of the sister mountains. This is also a territory of wild horses. A few bears roam here, along with some other predators, so beware. The grass is scarce here, but you'll find it if you search. The trees are also thinner at eye level, because the pines are fewer, there are more oak trees, and taller trees, without spiky branches to get in your way. One stream runs straight through the middle here, and drops off in a small waterfall, before it meets with the river. This territory is smaller than the other mountain, as the entire eastern face of this western mountain is much to steep to brave, so only the top, and the valley side of the mountain are safe environments. The ground is smooth but bare here, posing a larger threat of humans. Though, there are several crevices in the mountain to hide in. |

Valley This is yet another territory, narrow but long, nestled between the sister mountains. There's hardly a tree in sight here, leaving any horses wide open to predators, so the horses here ought to be the swiftest. However, this is the most convenient place to get both food and water, as it's entirely grass, and a large river runs straight through it. This also means horses here often have to wade the river. |

Foothills This territory surrounds the mountains. It's very hilly, and full of tall, yellowed grass. A few patches are green though. This tall grass poses the threat of the cougars hunting here often. There's also no close water, except for in shallow pools after it rains. You may have to travel a mile or two away from the mountains if your in real desperate need of water. |
